1.       First of all, it is an operation. Every operation is a stress for a human organism. Besides, if you have heart problems or increased arterial pressure, it has additional risks.
2.       Sometimes patient have allergy on preparations used as anesthesia or on materials of dental implants.
3.       Proper diagnostic and computer tomography before the operation is very important. If it is not done, a nerve can be damaged in its process. This will cause long-lasting postop pain and loss of tissues parts’ sensitivity.
4.       Also there is a possibility of infection getting in process of implantation. This will cause the development of inflammatory process around the tooth implant. Usually anti-inflammatory therapy is successful in this case. But sometimes things can go serious and even the removal of implant is required.
5.       If the bone is not thick enough, implant may go loose. The same result may occur if the implant is set on the wrong angle. It will make the wrong compression in the bone. Only the removal will save the situation.
6.       Non-professional dentist’s work may cause the protrusion of the implant into maxillary sinus. The pathogenic flora will gather on then and cause maxillitis.
